Friends of 75(NZ) Squadron Association, UK

The Friends of 75 (NZ) Squadron Association was formed in 2005 when the 75 (NZ) Squadron Association disbanded.

Those forming the new association wanted to keep alive the memory and spirit of the Squadron. The vast majority of members are made up of relatives that served on the Squadron. We are fortunate to still have wartime members of the Squadron among our numbers.

Our Secretary, Margaret Still, a staunch Kiwi, was my uncles skipper. And through our President, Simon Sommerville’s blog more new connections are being made. There is a strong feeling of family among the membership and the friendships made prove this.

We have members across the globe whose relatives served on the Squadron. It is our intention to foster the spirit of the Squadron and honour the memory of those that served. We owe so much to those who have given their all.

Let us repay that debt in word and deed. By joining us you can help achieve this aim.

Kevin King
Chairman: The Friends of 75 (NZ) Squadron Association

My father Thomas Farrow served with the 75 New Zealand squadron. He was a rear gunner. I know very little of his time with them as both my father and mother (Dorothy) are no longer with us. My father survived the war and I have his blue flying record book of the flights he made. I also have a pic of his crew.

Could you advise details of membership please.

I am interested to join in memory of my Dad who was attached to 75 (NZ) Sqn at RAF Feltwell circa 1940 (ground crew on Wellingtons).

    Thanks.
