Operations: BOMBING ATTACKS AGAINST BOLOGNE.
Two Wellington aircraft, one of these aircraft NCP.543 failed to locate going to heavy cloud. The other, NCP.794 reported hits in target area. Inaccurate heavy and light a fire was experienced, but no enemy aircraft were encountered. The weather was fairly good.

Operations:
BOMBING ATTACKS AGAINST HANOVER.
13 Wellington aircraft of this unit carried out in individual bombing attacks on the above target. Hits were registered in the target area. A Balloon was seen flying over Hanover at 9000 feet. Two beacons were observed at Ymuiden flashing one every three seconds. Many dummy fires were also seen. Sarah amount of heavy and light a a fire was encountered in target area. This ceased when ray tracer followed by white Tracer was fired. A number of enemy aircraft were seeing, while LUX.657 reports being hit by machine gun bullets and explosive shells fired by enemy aircraft which attacked. The hydraulic gear was damaged and the aircraft crashed on landing at Methwold. The weather was good but they was scattered cloud. Navigation was by Astro, pin points, and map reading.

12 Wellington aircraft of this unit with detail to carry out individual bombing attacks against the above target bombs were seen to bursting target area, and many files were observed. Danny fires were seen near the target. Heavy and medium AA fire was encountered in the target area and en route. Search lights were active from the Dutch coast to target. No enemy aircraft were seen. The weather was fine, but there was some ground mist.

BOMBING ATTACKS AGAINST WILHELMSHAVEN.
Seven Wellington aircraft of this unit were detailed to carry out individual bombing attacks against the above target. JAH.214 Captained by P/O Falconer failed to return. Hits are reported in the target area but the results could not be easily observed owing to ground haze. The AA fire encountered was mostly a medium and inaccurate. Searchlights were not very active. No enemy aircraft were seen.

BOMBING ATTACKS AGAINST BOULOGNE.
Eight Wellington Aircraft of this unit were detailed to carry out individual bombing attacks against the above target. Owing to heavy ground mist, one of these aircraft, WLR. 245, failed to locate the target. Bombs were seen to burst in the target area and several fires started. AA fire was heavy and fairly accurate, while searchlights were active and accurate, especially over the target area. Heavy cloud was experienced over most of the route and there was ground haze over the target. One enemy aircraft were seen but no attack was made.

Fairly accurate heavy medium and light AA fire was encountered, and searchlights were intense and accurate over Holland and target area. A few enemy aircraft were seen but no attacks made. The weather was fairly good over most of the journey, but ground haze covered the target.
